I am a widow. Not really but it feels like it.

My husband is on call this week, weekend and next week. I am eating dinner alone.
And it is a dinner that is hard to warm up. Barbeque pork tenderloin and pan roasted potatoes. You can't really warm it back up. So, I will try and just keep it warm in the oven. Have I said that I hate his job. I should have married a banker. You know one of those nine to five kind of jobs. Oh well, more for me. But since my stress level went up, my appetite just went right out the window.
We had the most beautiful sunrise this morning. I wish I could see the sunset where I live but the woods to the West block it from my vision. Good thing I was thinking about the dinner because I completely forgot to put the sauce on the meat half way through. Since no one is going to be here, it doesn't matter. I will just cook it about fifteen minutes longer.
I am a Grandma. I have a new grandbaby, Felicity Eden, six pounds, 15 ounces and 22 inches long, born Oct 18th at 11:30pm. Baby and Mom doing fine. Even my son seems
calm. Of course he will be 40 years old when his daughter turns six. I don't understand why people are having babies so much later. It's a known fact that your eggs are healthier when you are younger. Why take chances. I will post a photograph of the baby whenever I have one.
Ok, I took a break as my daughter called me. She is planning on moving back to Florida from Missouri. I will be so glad. And my husband made it home at 8:30 and we just ate the pork tenderloin. It was really good. My daughter told me I need to eat to keep my energy up. Now I am watching Primeval on BBC. Very scary show.
Here is my sunrise. See you tomorrow.

Congratulations Candy on your new Grandaughter! I saw the photos on Flickr, she is lovely! I love the names too. You know both of my brothers-in-law had their sons (one each) in their 40's, but both are married to women about seven or eight years younger than them! The older one was 46 when his son was born, and his wife was 38! It's a second marriage for both, and neither had kids from the first marriage. The youngest brother-in-law was 41 when his son was born and his wife was 33 (second marriage for him). Both families are happy and make good parents. I can't imagine having had babies at that age, but they seem to cope very well. Although I think if their first marriages had worked out they would have had kids much earlier!
